Statutory Inspector

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Statutory Inspector for our Christchurch office, with expertise in Pressure Equipment and/or Crane Inspections. This role will see you utilising your mechanical engineering skills to perform essential inspections and help our clients meet regulatory standards.
Key Duties:
Conduct thorough inspections of pressure equipment, boilers, cranes, and welding to ensure compliance with New Zealand regulations.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety and accuracy in all inspections.
Visit client sites throughout the Canterbury region for on-site inspections.
Provide guidance and training to junior staff as you progress within the role.
What We are Looking For:
Preferably, a CBIP certification in a relevant field, (pressure systems, pipework/pipelines, cranes, boilers etc.)
Prior experience with inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, or cranes will be highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and organised, capable of managing your own workload effectively.
Effective communication skills, with proficiency in both speaking and writing.
